Having been introduced to the market in early 2017, the leasehold for Coggings & Co, a local burger brand specialising in local produce and organic meat paired with organic local beers, has been acquired.
The leasehold interest was marketed by Kate Dowd at leisure property specialists Fleurets, off a guide price of £165k. David Stock, an experienced restaurant and bar manager from London, has purchased the restaurant and will be keeping the Coggings name alive and developing the brand.
Stock commented, “I am thrilled to be taking over this well known local burger brand and aim to add some new energy and diversity into the restaurant whilst keeping true to the brands ethos using local suppliers, offering dietary alternatives and remaining part of the ‘Food Made Good’ awards from the Sustainable Restaurant Association.”
Coggings & Co has traded for over three years and has become a favourite burger restaurant with locals as well as a favourite take-away for many more. Nestled in the thriving Seven Dials area of the city, a short distance from the station, the restaurant has a fresh modern look, can cater for parties and special occasions and offers a large garden patio for al fresco dining.
The vendors, Kitchenware Restaurants Ltd, commented, ”We are delighted to have sold to Dave who loves the brand we have created here and wants to take it to the next level.”
