EAT unveils Christmas menu


EAT.’s best-selling and much anticipated Pigs in Blankets will be available three ways this festive season; on their own, in a hot pot or with mash and gravy. The innovative fresh food-to-go retailer will absolutely ensure you have yourself a tasty little Christmas.

EAT.’s recipe developers have raided the tastiest ingredients from the Christmas larder to bring a new menu that will suit a wide spectrum of tastes; vegetarians and meat-lovers alike. Pigs in Blankets, Mash & Gravy and a Turkey, Stuffing & Crispy Onion Baguette will sit alongside Spicy Mac ‘n’ Cheese and EAT.’s celebrated Festive Full Works Bloomer.

Highlights include:
Pigs in Blankets Pot - six delicious British sausages wrapped in maple-cured bacon. Served in a pot with EAT.’s own Christmassy cranberry sauce.

Pigs in Blankets, Mash & Gravy - a festive twist on a British classic – Pigs, Mash & Gravy! Pigs in Blankets sit on top of creamy mash potato, and covered in a delicious onion gravy. Topped with crispy onions for an added crunch.

Mac 'n' Cheese with spicy jalapeños and crispy onions - EAT.’s Mac ‘n’ Cheese gets a festive twist topped with spicy jalapeños and crispy onions. Last year’s creamy Brie & Truffle Mac ‘n’ Cheese is also back for a limited run In December.

Festive Full Works Bloomer is back with some major taste improvements. Succulent slices of butter basted turkey sit along smoked ham and a new hand-crumbed pork with a prune & pancetta stuffing. Also with spinach, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise.

Goats Cheese, Pear & Date Bloomer - slices of creamy goats cheese and juicy mulled wine pears with a pear & date chutney, spinach and peppered mayonnaise.

Turkey, Stuffing and Crispy Onions Baguette - chunky slices of butter basted Turkey, hand-crumbed pork, prune & pancetta stuffing and crispy onions with cranberry sauce and rocket in a fresh baguette.

Roasted butternut squash, seedy stuffing & slaw - EAT.’s vegan offering this year consists of roasted butternut squash & a seed stuffing, paired with a cranberry slaw, spiced vegan mayonnaise and rocket served within two slices of soft malted bread.

Turkey Hot Pot - a dreamy festive stew made with turkey, leeks, carrots and parsnips in a creamy wholegrain mustard sauce served with mashed potato and red cabbage.

The Pigs in Blankets with Mustard Mayo & Ale Onion Chutney Hot Roll is back and this year is available at both breakfast and lunch.

Sweet treats for the Christmas season spruce-up some classic festive flavour combinations in more modern bakes - like the Merry Mincemeat Crumble Bar: an all butter shortbread topped with traditional mincemeat and an all butter crumble; and the gluten-free Jaffa Cake: a polenta cake topped with a jaffa orange curd and dark chocolate.

EAT.’s famous Merry Mince Pie is available for just £1 when purchased with any hot drink.

And to wash it all down? There's Salted Caramel Latte made with fresh espresso coffee, silky milk and a salted caramel syrup.
