Godiva opens new concept at Meadowhall

British Land, joint owner of Sheffield's Meadowhall, has announced that Godiva has opened a 1,700 sq ft store at the newly refurbished centre.

Situated in a prominent corner location on the Upper High Street level, which leads into the Oasis Dining Quarter, the store includes a café concept outside the store with seating for 14 covers.

Jon Green, UK Country Manager at Godiva, said, “Meadowhall is a great location for us to have unveiled our first concept café boutique. We were attracted by its great reputation and significance as a major UK retail destination.

'The plans for the refurbishment were the icing on the cake and we are thrilled that our opening coincided with its completion. The surroundings are bright, modern, and complement our high quality store design perfectly.”

Richard Crowther, Asset Manager for British Land, added, “The new Godiva store looks extremely enticing and their premium offer complements the newly refurbished shopping environment at Meadowhall.

'The addition of the café is perfect for shoppers looking to enjoy a sweet treat as part of their day out. Godiva follows in the footsteps of a range of other premium brands that joined Meadowhall in 2017, including Flannels, Neal’s Yard Remedies, TAG Heuer and Nespresso.”
