Four Hundred Rabbits teams up with Zoes Ghana Kitchen for National Pizza Day

To celebrate National Pizza Day, Four Hundred Rabbits will be teaming up with popular popup Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen this February to offer two brand new sourdough pizzas inspired by founder and cookbook author Zoe Adjonyoh’s signature dishes.

Visitors to the much-loved neighbourhood restaurants in Crystal Palace and Nunhead can tuck into a meaty special showcasing Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen favourites Jollof nine-spice ground lamb and spiced peanut sauce, plus cassava, spring onions, San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella, or opt for the vegetarian combination of Zoe’s contemporary Ghanaian chilli and garlic marinated garden eggs (baby aubergines) with shito hot pepper mayonnaise, wood-roasted yellow peppers, rocket, sesame seeds, San Marzano tomatoes and goats cheese.

On Friday 9 February, pizza lovers can enjoy both of Four Hundred Rabbits x Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen specials and all of the team’s renowned London sourdough pizzas with an exclusive 30% discount for one day only, as part of Foodism’s National Pizza Day celebrations (nationalpizzaday.co.uk).

Also available to take away for those wishing to host their own pizza party at home, the two limited edition West African influenced dishes will continue to be served throughout the month to ensure more time to sample these unmissable collaboration creations.

Regularly recognised as one of the best pizzas in the capital, Four Hundred Rabbits always begin with their award-winning 48-hour proved sourdough, cooked in the wood-fire oven at around 400 degrees to result in a deeply flavoursome base with a light chewy texture. They are passionate about using the best innovative British ingredients for their toppings and working with talented local artisans, continually providing guests with something unique through their seasonal menus.

This February’s partnership with critically-acclaimed 'Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen' cookbook author and pop-up chef Zoe Adjonyoh, famous for her fresh interpretation of classic West African flavours, is the latest in the pizzeria’s successful series of monthly specials highlighting top London traders and producers such as Pip & Nut, Cannon & Cannon, Slow Richies and Brick Brewery.

Four Hundred Rabbits’ co-founder Daniel Edwards said, “We are proud and excited to be part of National Pizza Day 2018, celebrating not just some of the best pizzas in the UK, but the best in the world... While Napoli may be the spiritual birthplace of the pizza, London certainly feels like the future. Here's to National Pizza Day!”
