Deliveroo has today confirmed that there are ten secret menu items available on the food delivery app from Britain’s favourite restaurants, but are keeping tight lipped on exactly where to find them.
After a tech sleuth discovered a secret menu item from Burger & Lobster on the app, the leading on-demand food delivery service has revealed the existence of the ‘Secret Menu’ to the world.
The Secret Menu is the world’s first on-demand secret menu that spans across multiple exclusive Deliveroo restaurant partners in the UK. Within regular menus on the app Deliveroo customers can stumble upon something extraordinary, when looking to add an everyday item to their Deliveroo basket.
Inspired by In N Out’s secret Animal Fries, Deliveroo has created a range of delicious limited edition menu items from a range of top UK restaurants, but hopeful foodies will have to search the site and app to find the remaining nine items.
The first special menu item, dubbed ‘The Golden Claw’ from Burger & Lobster, was discovered by Twitter user Julia Lundin who tweeted her surprise when finding the gold leaf lobster hidden in the Deliveroo menu. Julia was trying to add some sauce for her order when a pop-up announced she had discovered The Golden Claw from Burger & Lobster’s Canary Wharf site.
