Lidl UK has launched its first permanent free-from range this week, with prices starting from 79p, making the free-from food category affordable and accessible to all.
This will be welcome news for those currently having to stretch weekly shopping budgets to accommodate for free-from products. A recent report from Mintel found that 47% of free-from shoppers in the UK spend less on these products when budgets are tight but with Lidl’s permanent range, customers will now be able to carry on buying their favourite free-from foods whatever the budget.
Featuring gluten-free goodies from Lidl’s own range as well as other popular brands, the selection offers high quality products that taste delicious with the great value that Lidl is famed for.
Particular highlights in the range include Gluten Free Porridge Oats, £1.79, providing much needed morning fuel, an assortment of Luxury Gluten Free Cookies, £1.29, perfect for dunking in afternoon cups of tea and Gluten Free Spaghetti, 99p, which tastes delicious on its own or with homemade bolognese to be enjoyed by the whole family. For keen bakers there’s even Gluten Free Brownie Mix and a variety of Gluten Free Flours, both £1.29, to keep the GBBO dream alive!
