Cornish Orchards launches Dry Cider

Cornish cider company, Cornish Orchards has launched a new product, Dry Cider – available in keg and 500ml bottles.

Dry Cider is made with three apple varieties – Harry Masters Jersey, Dabinet and Michelin – which deliver a traditional West Country cider character. It has a full, fruity flavour with a long, dry finish – owed to the tannins in these apple varieties.

Patrick Gardner, General Manager at Cornish Orchards, said, “We’re really excited about this new product. We looked at typical draught cider ranges available at the bar and noticed there was a definite gap in the market for a drier, less sweet option.

'Dry Cider is perfect for the drinkers who are looking to move away from the sweet ciders that currently dominate the market.”

Cornish Orchards is an award-winning cider drinks company that was founded in 1999 by Andy Atkinson and is based at Westnorth Manor Farm in Duloe, Cornwall. The firm works harmoniously with the seasons to create a range of whole fruit ciders that are fermented from freshly pressed apple juice which is then hand blended and matured by the team of expert Cider Makers.
