Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, which partners over 40 of the country’s most famous sports stadia, heritage sites, museums and visitor attractions, is putting fizz, food and fun on the menu this summer.
From May to August, the UK's leading catering and events company is tempting corporate clients and party organisers with everything from Pimm’s and prosecco to picnics and playgrounds.
The Grade I-listed Athenaeum, at Bury St Edmunds, is offering corporate clients, the chance to break up their working day with a picnic lunch in the beautiful setting of the nearby Abbey Gardens as part of their day delegate package
Al fresco dining is also on offer at The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, where businesses can host a formal barbecue and drinks reception at the John Hope Gateway, treat employees to an informal outdoor grill or pizza from their garden oven with views of the Edinburgh skyline at the Terrace Café or host a tailored event in the Caledonian Hall, overlooking the rock garden and waterfall.
Historic Knebworth House, Herts, is also mixing business with pleasure, opening up its 250-acre grounds – complete with maze, dinosaur trail and adventure playground – for team building events, barbecues and summer fun days.
At Brighton, the Amex Stadium is treating delegates to complimentary Pimm’s jelly and ice cream this summer while Newcastle United’s St James’ Park is swapping lunchtime sandwiches and wraps for superfood dishes, packed with antioxidants and nutrients to keep delegates fuelled.
At The Crystal, overlooking London’s Royal Victoria Dock, a Summer Bowl Food Package is available for groups of 40 or more and includes a summer fruit cocktail along with a range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes – with the optional addition of a Pimm’s or Aperol drinks reception outside.
While those hosting an evening event in Glasgow can do it in style at Hampden Park and receive a free drinks reception in the Millennium Suite. Not only will your delegates be able to look out across the iconic pitch, they will also be greeted with a free glass of prosecco on arrival.
