Kudos secures £3.3m deal with Royal College of Anaesthetists

Kudos has been appointed as the new exclusive caterer at The Royal College of Anaesthetists in a five-year deal worth £3.3m, as part of a larger framework launched by LUPC (London Universities Purchase Consortium).

Located in Churchill House (Holborn), The Royal College of Anaesthetists is the professional body responsible for the specialty of anaesthesia throughout the UK, setting the highest standards in anaesthesia, critical care and pain management.

Taking over from Mayfair Ltd, the previous caterer, Kudos’s services will provide a more flexible, modern approach to professional hospitality to meet the needs of College members and also facilitate growth in external markets by adapting to current and future trends.

Kudos’s offering will enhance the experiences of members, visitors and clients, whilst offering value for money for the College. Kudos remains focused on growing the venue-hire and events business by developing a cutting-edge marketing strategy and constructing business development campaigns in partnership with the college.

Mark Blaney, Finance and Resources Director of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, said, “We are pleased to announce the new catering partnership with Kudos, who offer high quality catering and share our vision in creating a sought after central London conference and meeting venue, here at Churchill House. Their pursuit in sustainable and local food sourcing, along with having held the four ISO accreditations made them our first choice.”

Matthew Herter, Chief Executive of Kudos, said, “The team are thrilled to have built a new partnership with the college and can’t wait to get started. The Royal College of Anaesthetists adds a new dynamic to the list of diverse venues we work with across the UK. The college are trying to expand in an ever-changing market and we feel our flexible approach and adaptability will make this a great partnership going forward.”
