Greene King Pub Partners kicks off World Cup promo support

Greene King Pub Partners' team has been travelling around the country, ahead of the World Cup, unveiling its Mission to Russia promotional support, in order to help pubs achieve a first-class start to the summer.

Three roadshows took place at Ascot, Old Trafford and in Royston for partners to visit and take advantage of support from a variety of suppliers who were on hand to discuss key opportunities with pubs.

Representatives from Sky, Coca Cola, AB InBev and MatchPint attended to showcase their support as Pub Partners aimed to build on the success of its Christmas roadshows last autumn to help pubs have a successful summer.

Natasha Crotty, Greene King Pub Partners marketing manager, said, “Our Mission to Russia campaign is up and running and these roadshows are key to the success of the campaign to give them that extra boost for this fantastic summer of sport and beyond.

“Our sports club package, offering deals and promotional support for pubs showing sport, continues to thrive and we had several pubs sign-up at the roadshows, along with some of our other support packages.

“With pubs facing competition from all sides, we believe passionately in helping our partners create extra reasons for customers to visit their pub, setting them apart from others, and we believe these roadshows have been an important step in preparing our partners for the summer of sport.”

Following up on the roadshows, more than 50 members of the Pub Partners head office team will be out on the road visiting pubs at the start of June to offer advice and support to help them get ready for one of the most important sporting events in the calendar.

John Forrest, managing director of Greene King Pub Partners, said, “I’m a big believer in the benefits of getting everyone out the office to support our pubs.

“Our Mission to Russia campaign comes in three sections: launching promotional material and offers for our pubs, running roadshows to allow our partners the chance to come and meet with first-class suppliers and finally following it all up with personal visits to some of our pubs to see if they are all set and to offer extra tips and guidance.

“We want to provide fantastic support to help our pubs by creating new and exciting reasons for customers to visit.”
