Market Brasserie launches new best of British menu

Market Brasserie at InterContinental London – The O2, led by Executive Chef Johan Rox, has launched a new menu celebrating the best of British produce.

The lively restaurant, which overlooks London’s River Thames and Canary Wharf, will serve dishes created from produce sourced from across the British Isles, including Salad of smoked duck breast with courgette, carrot spaghetti & herb dressing; Beetroot & goats cheese croquettes with textures of tomato and black olive crumble, and Chocolate tart with almond sponge, fresh raspberries & raspberry sorbet (pictured).

Rox commented, “We’re delighted to share this new menu with guests as we continue to redefine and enhance our entire restaurant experience here at Market Brasserie. Each of our ingredients shares a story, whether it’s monkfish fillets from the south coast, or aromatic pastries from Greenwich itself, each ingredient has been carefully selected from our trusted suppliers to ensure every dish is of the very highest quality.

“We’re committed to the journey of our ingredients, ensuring that wherever possible they’re British-sourced. This gives our guests the opportunity to learn about the produce, where it’s from and how we carefully prepare each ingredient and use it to create each dish.”

InterContinental London – The O2 offers 453 guestrooms, a luxury spa with 17m swimming pool and eight treatment rooms, as well as a collection of London’s finest destination inspired restaurants and bars, including the 3 AA Rosette Peninsula Restaurant, the unique Clipper Bar with its own exclusive gin, the rooftop Eighteen Sky Bar and the Meridian Lounge with a riverside terrace.
