Nisa Cider Festival event set to boost sales


Nisa is helping retailers to make the most of the warmer weather and long summer evenings with a Cider Festival promotion to help drive footfall and sales.

The event commenced on Monday and will run until 29 July, supporting Nisa retail partners in generating additional sales with competitive pricing and offers on a wide range of ciders.

The promotion is supported with themed marketing materials and POS including shelf talkers, hanging signs, posters and gondola ends to help retailers to create in-store theatre and draw attention to the category.

The Cider Festival has become a popular event with retailers and their customers alike and follows a successful Cider Festival event in March, in addition to Gin and Wine Festival promotions throughout the year.

Ciders on promotion during the festival include Kopparberg 10x330ml at £10, 500ml bottles of Old Mout, Rekorderlig or Bulmers cider at 2 for £3.50 and Smirnoff Cider and Merrydown ciders at 3 for £5, to name a few.

Nisa’s Trading Controller for beer, ales and cider, Sam Yeadon, said, “Cider continues to perform well in our stores and we’ve timed our latest Cider Festival to coincide with the warmer summer weather, when customers are looking for something more refreshing to drink.
