The Celtic Manor Resort is to regain the management of its fine dining restaurant, along with the launch of a new outlet in May taking the total tally of restaurants at the resort to six.
Its current restaurant, The Crown at Celtic Manor, will close on 30 April when the management agreement between the five star hotel and the restaurant’s operator, Crown Hotels and Restaurants (CHR) comes to an end after it extended its deal for a year after an initial three-year agreement. This will be the second contract that CHR has lost within eight months.
