CAMRA organises Mass Lobby Day on beer duty, business rates & Pubs Code

Following the Autumn Budget, hundreds of CAMRA members will descend on Parliament to lobby their MPs in a national day of action.

CAMRA will be holding a Mass Lobby Day in Westminster, London on Tuesday 30 October 2018. This will be our opportunity to bring pressing campaign issues to the attention of up to 650 Members of Parliament (MPs).

The purpose of the Lobby day will be to ask MPs to commit to the following CAMRA campaigns:

- Support introducing a preferential rate of duty for draught beer
- Commit to reshaping the business rates system to address the unfair burden on pubs
- An urgent review of the Pubs Code so that the Market Rent Only option becomes a genuine choice for tenants

Delegates will be holding meetings with MPs through the day, which will culminate in a Members' Rally.
