Finalists announced for Casual Dining Restaurant & Pub Awards 2019

PizzaExpress, Zizzi, Toby Carvery, Wagamama, All Bar One, Las Iguanas, ASK Italian, and Jamie’s Italian are among the big-name brands in the running to receive a Casual Dining Restaurant & Pub Award.

Over 100 casual dining restaurants and pubs from across the UK are among the finalists to make the shortlist, which was announced in full today. Now in its fourth year, the annual awards celebrate the very best of the multi-billion pound casual dining sector. The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards dinner on the evening of 27 February 2019 at the London Marriott Hotel, in Grosvenor Square, following the first day of the Casual Dining trade show.

Operators will compete across 18 categories, ranging from new menu concepts, restaurant and pub designs and marketing campaigns, to recognising the best new openings and standout brands of the year. This year will also see the introduction of two new categories, the Ethical Operator Award and Best Family Dining Experience.

Casual Dining’s event manager, Eva Ellis, says: “Over the past three years, the Casual Dining Restaurant & Pub Awards has established itself as a key event on the casual dining calendar. It’s a fantastic way to reward and celebrate the achievements of those companies who are driving forward Britain’s fastest-growing food sector. Congratulations and good luck to each of our shortlisted finalists.”
