Debenhams is to set up a 95,000 sq ft department store at the £150m New Riverside retail development in Shrewsbury, becoming the flagship store for the shopping complex. It will be joined by 50 other stores which will create a total of 700 jobs.
The New Riverside project is being managed by Ignis Asset Management and the Shearer Property Group which gained planning permission for the development earlier this month.
