Black Sheep Coffee launches summer menu with 35th site opening Friday

Black Sheep Coffee, the specialist independent coffee shop chain best known for its cafes, kiosks and post-work cocktail bars, today launches its brand-new summer menu amid further expansion across London.

The updated menu includes cocktail favourites such as the traditional English fruity Pimms, and the fizzy Italian Aperol Spritz, while Black Sheep Coffee’s own classic cocktails – such as their signature Espresso Martini, made with Black Sheep’s full bodied Specialty grade Robusta, vodka and coffee liqueur or their refreshing Chili Mezcal Margarita, made with lime, agave and tabasco – will still be available.

In addition to the new cocktails, Black Sheep Coffee extends its famous Norwegian waffle offering by introducing its limited-edition summer waffle, featuring strawberries and cream – the perfect pairing to the selection of refreshing cocktails.

Guests can also enjoy three other indulgent creations, such as the Haugesund Dreamer: a savoury treat with Norwegian brown cheese, the American PB&J or Your Way, leaving the choice to choose between Nutella, Peanut Butter and banana.

The new summer menu is available at selected Black Sheep Coffee locations across the UK – which offer either food or cocktails. For a truly al fresco experience, head to one of Black Sheep’s terraces at either Regent’s Place, Leadenhall, Southbank, Wembley and Principal Place locations in London.

Black Sheep Coffee’s 35th site will open at 115 Houndsditch, on the corner of Cutler Street from 28 June.

James Sarjeant, Brand & Franchise Director at Black Sheep Coffee, commented, “A seasonal menu is important in our industry. It lets us be creative, all the while keeping our customers satisfied with a range of new options. Our guests’ feedback is primordial to us which is why we’ve decided to mix indulgence with lighter fare and give customers the option to build their own waffles.

“As we approach the warmer months, we wanted to introduce new, fruity and floral-based tastes to our menu. It was an exciting process, and we worked with our talented head bartenders to make sure to honour the seasonal favourites, without leaving out customers’ favourites. This menu is a nod to the quintessential summer classics – such as the beloved pairing of strawberries and cream with Pimms.'
