TRG & Diverse Dining brings Shake Shack to UK airports

TRG Concessions and Diverse Dining Ltd have entered into a partnership to bring Shake Shack to select UK airports. The first Shack has today opened in Gatwick Airport’s North terminal.

The new Shack will now be open seven days a week, from 4am until the last flight departs.

The Shake Shack chain serves up 100% Aberdeen Angus beef burgers, griddled flat-top dogs, fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle-cut fries and more. Shake Shack currently operates ten Shacks in the UK.

TRG Concessions, who currently operate a number of casual dining franchises in the UK’s largest airports, and Diverse Dining Ltd will open a number of Shacks across airports in the UK, with Gatwick Airport being the first.

Nick Ayerst, Managing Director of TRG Concessions, said, “We are very excited to be working with a brand like Shake Shack and are looking forward to collaboratively opening our first shack at Gatwick Airport.

Michael Kark, Shake Shack’s Chief Global Licensing Officer, said, “We are incredibly proud to be a part of the UK’s thriving food scene and are continually humbled by the support of our UK fan base.

“We look forward to expanding upon that connection in UK airports, whether we’re welcoming you home or fuelling you up for your trip.”
