Kricket to launch one-off tasting menu after Malaysian food tour

Earlier this month, Kricket founders, Rik Campbell and Will Bowlby were taken on a food tour of Malaysia.

The trip was centred around Kuala Lumpur and the cultural melting pot that is Penang. Penang is known for its diverse mix of traditional Malay, Chinese, Indian and Peranakan street food.

Now back, the duo want to share some of the amazing dishes tasted along the way - Kricket style!

From November 26 - November 29, Kricket will be at 4 Brushfield Street, Spitalfieds serving a special one-off feasting menu.

The whole feasting menu is designed to share. The menu adopts the same approach that is taken towards the menus served at Kricket using seasonal and local ingredients.

From dishes first tasted in Malaysia re imagined such as grilled duck hearts, satay, pickled cucumber and duck scratchings; to Kricket classics getting a Malaysian twist such as the Malay fried chicken served with sambal mayonnaise, pickled mooli and fried curry leaves.

To top it off, the price of the feasting menu includes a delicious refreshing cocktail centred around Malaysias signature herbacious pandan leaf.
