Specialist London property investor Shaftesbury, has completed two new restaurant deals in the capital that will see new concepts added to its Carnaby and Covent Garden ‘urban village’ estates in London.

The first new site to be occupied is at 17 Broadwick Street, which will now become a Mozzino expresso bar. A 10 year lease has been signed to June 2022. 48 Chandos Place is the second new site, here will be an Italian delicatessen and aperitivo bar concept called II Tempo, the first of its brand in London. It has taken a 10 year lease occupying the ground floor and basement of the site.

Leisure property adviser Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) brokered both deals and is reserved by Shaftesbury to advise on its 'urban villages', which include the Opera Quarter, Covent Garden's new food quarter, and St Martin's Courtyard, for both asset management and new lettings.
Private members club Kingly Club was also recently completed by DCL. Located within Shaftesbury’s Carnaby estate, the lease has been obtained by CG Restuarants which owns West End restaurant Tuttons, pizza chain Fire & Stone, and the Dirty Martini cocktail bars.
