Spar UK MD to speak at WiW Speed Mentoring

Organisers of Women in Wholesale (WiW) have announced that the Louise Hoste, Managing Director of SPAR UK, will be the guest speaker at its 2020 Speed Mentoring event, which is taking place on 21 April 2020 in London.

Hoste (pictured) was appointed as the new Managing Director of SPAR UK six months ago and has previously held Commercial Director positions at the Card Factory, Asda and Walmart, as well as Director roles at Brakes Group and The Co-op.

Louise has worked across the globe in customer facing, commercial and Board Level roles. “She’s a high-impact role model who will get our 2020 theme ‘Take Control’ off to a hard-hitting start,” said WiW Founder, Elit Rowland.

Louise Hoste commented, “It’s wonderful to take part in an initiative that inspires the next generation of female leaders - I’m looking forward to being involved.”

WiW, now in its fifth year, has helped to support and progress hundreds of people working across UK foodservice and grocery wholesale with regular educational networking events and actionable resources.

Due to popular demand, the WiW Speed Mentoring event has been extended to a full day, allowing more time mentors and the introduction of a new workshop.

New mentors for 2020 include Melanie Tucker, Head of Out of Home, Graze; Darren Goldney, Managing Director of Unitas and Lisa Mooney, Head of Talent and Development at Lucozade Ribena Suntory.

They will join mentors from last year, which include Jess Markowski, Sales Director for Budweiser; Clare Bocking, Chief Commercial Officer at DCS; Helen Rimmer, National Account Controller for Carlsberg UK and Coral Rose, Managing Director of Country Range Group and newly appointed FWD Chairperson.

The Speed Mentoring event is free of charge to all sponsors and supporters. Additional places are charged at £100 + VAT. To book go to: http://newerapr.co.uk/events/wiw-speed-mentoring-2020/
