Slim Chickens to start reopening tomorrow for delivery or collection

In line with the easing of lockdown in England, Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG) has today confirmed that two of its popular Slim Chickens outlets will reopen this week.

Slim Chickens in London’s Brunswick Centre will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday 20 May, and on Thursday 21 May in Bristol’s Cabot Centre. Both outlets will trade seven days from 12 till 9pm.

Reopening dates for Slim’s outlets in Birmingham, Bluewater, Cardiff, and London’s Soho and St James are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Renowned for its Southern US hospitality, the Slim Chickens restaurants will reopen with the full menu of fresh, buttermilk-marinated, hand-breaded and cooked-to-order premium chicken wings and tenders available to customers.

Social distancing measures have been introduced in each outlet for customers preferring to pop into Slim’s and either takeaway their favourite dishes or click and collect. For those preferring to remain indoors, the restaurants will also offer a home delivery service.

Richard Pigott, Head of Operations at Slim Chickens, noted, “Now that lockdown measures have been relaxed, we will be phasing the re-opening of our Slim Chickens estate.

'Our customers in Bristol and London will be the first to have the chance to re-acquaint themselves with our iconic dishes, and I’m sure Slimthuiasts in both cities will welcome the news that they can once again enjoy an authentic taste of Arkansas.”
