Deliveroo helps eateries make full use of Eat Out to Help Out scheme

With the launch of Eat Out to Help Out (EOHO) on Monday, Deliveroo has updated its in-app Table Service feature to help its restaurant partners take full advantage of the scheme.

Changes introduced by Deliveroo will allow customers to clearly see all restaurants in their local area who have signed up to the EOHO scheme.

Deliveroo will also promote restaurants’ EOHO offer within the Table Service restaurant list and across all consumer marketing channels, reaching thousands of customers and encouraging them to make the most of the discounts provided by restaurant partners. This will be particularly beneficial for small, independent restaurants.

As well as providing marketing support, Deliveroo will make it easier for restaurants to manage the scheme. The Table Service feature will automatically apply discounts to the bill, enabling customers to easily understand the savings on offer.

Deliveroo has also created a dashboard to allow restaurants to track and monitor the discounts they provide through the scheme. This information is downloaded into a report to be submitted to HMRC so that restaurants can be reimbursed as quickly as possible.

Deliveroo is also providing a simple guide for all restaurants signed up to Table Service on how to register for Eat Out to Help Out.
