Cornish brewer St Austell has revealed a new cask racking plant worth £2.5million allowing them to double its brewery capacity with the potential of producing up to 200,000 brewers’ barrels a year.
Production of its flagship ale, Tribute, reached an all time high this year alone, breaking through the threshold of 50,000 barrels moving-annual-total.
The St Austell Brewery development will mark the biggest industry investment in cask operations in the last ten years.
