Greggs invests in St Pancras International with two new openings

Greggs, the leading food-on-the-go retailer has confirmed it will open two new shops in St Pancras International this week with the first shop opening tomorrow, Saturday 12 December.

To make it easier than ever for Greggs fans to enjoy their beloved bakes and rolls on the go, the shops will be open for take away and Click and Collect.

The new shops will provide a modern food-on-the go experience and the new openings have created a total of 23 jobs, with all remaining jobs advertised at greggsfamily.co.uk

The openings come as Greggs announced it would be opening 20 new shops across the UK during the final quarter of 2020.

The new shops in St Pancras International will offer a whole range of Greggs favourites, including sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats. What’s more, to celebrate the new shop openings, the first 250 customers who go through the doors on the 12th December will receive a free mince pie.

The shop’s staff will be on hand to serve an array of hot drinks from peppermint and green tea to Americanos and the festive Salted Caramel Latte. All Greggs coffee is made from a unique blend of mild, high grown Arabica beans from Peru and Colombia and rich tasting Robusta beans from Tanzania, meaning not only does it taste delicious, but it’s 100% Fairtrade.

The new Greggs shop will also stock a range of vegan-friendly products, including the Vegan Steak Bake and Vegan Sausage Roll.

Roisin Currie, retail and people director for Greggs, said, “We’re delighted to be able to invest in St Pancras International bringing new jobs to the area and providing both new and existing customers with a modern and convenient new shop.”

Wendy Spinks, Commercial Director HS1 Ltd. said, “We’re pleased to welcome Greggs to St Pancras International. These new additions will give our customers even greater choice when it comes to food on the go.”

The second of the two shops will open on the upper level on 14 December.
