Fearnley-Whittingstall to launch two more River Cottage sites

Renowned chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is to add two more River Cottage sites to his portfolio, this time in Bristol and Winchester.

The new Bristol site is due to open first (early 2013), occupying a 4,000sq ft site which was previously the church of St John the Evangelist. It will be known as River Cottage Canteen and Deli.

A venue in Winchester will then be housed in the three-floor Abbey Mill in the city centre, which was previously used as council offices. In addition to its flagship site at Axminster in Devon, River Cottage also opened a site in the Brewhouse at Plymouth’s Royal William Yard development.
