Coya launches Easter finish-at-home feast

Coya's Mayfair restaurant is launching a new limited-edition finish-at-home Peruivan Easter feast; Almuerzo de Pascua, which will be available for delivery on Saturday 3 April.

It's packed with an exclusive lavender & honey gimlet cocktail, four courses to share, a bottle of wine or Champagne, and chocolate Easter eggs. Adding a vibrant twist to the first weekend in April, the exclusive kit serves a minimum of two and allows COYA fans to treat their friends or family to a restaurant experience at home this Easter.

The Almuerzo de Pascua is set to bring a taste of South America home, and kicks off with a series of colourful appetizers including Tostada con Camarones - corn tostadas with black tiger prawns in a tomato and red onion salsa, followed by a selection of fresh ceviche and tiraditos including Ceviche de Corvina a la Trufa - corvina, truffles, ponzu and chives, and Tataki de Atun Nikkei - yellowfin tuna, sesame seeds, pickled cucumber and soy.

Guests have a choice of two mains in the elaborate feast, with options ranging from Arroz con Pato - stir fried rice, duck leg, seasonal vegetable and criolla salad (a simple salad made with finely chopped vegetables and bell peppers); Cordero Asado - braised lamb rump, chicha de jora with aji panca and carrots; to Escabeche Peruano - baked sea bream with aji panca, red onion escabeche.

To finish, the weekend Easter feast will include a new dessert - the Pie de Limon - Lemon tart with meringue, with Coya's own chocolate Easter eggs, made in house, so that diners needn’t hunt far for their Easter treats.

For the ultimate Easter weekend, guests can enjoy the feast with the lavender & honey gimlet cocktail, a delicious mix of black pepper infused vodka, lavender & honey cordial, and rosemary.

Also available will be a choice between a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Brut NV Champagne, a richly textured Catena Alta Chardonnay, or a light and pure Barbara Pinot Noir, with the option to upgrade to premium wines to make the celebration extra special.

Orders must be placed before 6pm on Wednesday 31 March.

This Mayfair restaurant will reopen in May and before that, Coya's other site in London's EC2 will reopen its terrace in April.
