Suffolk cafe to reopen next week with 1,000 free coffees

Paddy & Scott's is welcoming its customers back to its flagship cafe at Ambition House in Ipswich from next Monday, 17 May, with a huge 1,000 cups of coffee giveaway and a brand new catering team.

Keen to re-establish itself as the go-to coffee house in the area, Paddy & Scott's will be offering each customer the chance to sign up online and enjoy a free cup of its Lunchbox coffee on them.

“We've been shut to indoor diners for over five months and we want to do something that says, 'We're back and it’s really nice to see you!',” explained Jon Reed, Managing Director. “What better way to do that than to give out some delicious free coffee?”

From 17 May, Paddy & Scott’s will also be working with a new catering team from Suffolk family-run Fork Kitchen & Deli in Hadleigh, which specialises in delicious artisan pastries and fresh, wholesome and delicious food. “We can’t wait to welcome back our customers back with an exciting new menu that they can eat in or take away,” explains Jon.

The free coffee voucher will be allocated one per person and everyone will have to sign up online to receive a welcome email that they can show in the cafe.

“We've chosen to give away our Lunchbox Coffee in particular for this promotion as every purchase of Lunchbox gives a free school meal to a child in need,” continued Reed. “So not only will we be rewarding our valued customers as they come back to us, but also feeding school children at the same time.”

Based at The University of Suffolk, the cafe at Ambition House receives a large amount of footfall from students and local business people and with students back on campus, and offices reopening, Paddy & Scott’s hopes that trade will be steady. “We can't wait to get back behind the counter and start serving up great food and coffee to our customers again,” added Reed.
