The pub co kicked things off with the creation of their brand-new sports operating manual, The Dugout. The Dugout provides expert advice, covering everything from creating a vibrant atmosphere to delivering a consistent guest experience for every game. Publicans now have the tools needed to flex their hosting muscles.
Punch publicans have also benefitted from an abundance of incredible sports point of sale kits by Punch’s industry-leading suppliers. The pubs will be decked with branded material from Heineken, Coca Cola, Carlsberg and Carling, setting a spirited backdrop for the captivating games. Punch have also designed their own support kits that have been sent to over 500 pubs!
This is accompanied by exclusive sports food menus, a guest driven email marketing plan and an impressive social media schedule, complete with official Heineken, MatchPint and Punch designed assets to generate an unmissable guest experience.
The pub co has also supported with brand-new indoor and outdoor TVs to over 50 of their pubs, as well as 197 additional tables across 31 pubs, prepping Publicans to match the inevitable demand this championship presents.
Punch didn’t call time there though and have nominated five of their top sports pubs to become ‘Hero Sites’, benefitting from additional, exclusive support. These epic pubs have received full Heineken takeovers, and guests of these pubs have had the opportunity to win ticket giveaways for the England games.
