Just Eat launches Just Eat Pay for hybrid working world

Just Eat has today launched Just Eat Pay in the UK, a new and innovative employee benefit service for businesses across the UK through its corporate arm, Just Eat for Business.

The new and flexible solution serves as an online canteen. It allows small, medium and large businesses to provide employees with a daily or monthly allowance to order a meal from a wide variety of food options via Just Eat’s 58,000+ restaurant partners.

The launch comes at a pivotal time where many offices are making their return after 18 months of Covid-19 restrictions. Designed for a hybrid workforce, Just Eat Pay offers the same service for those working at home and at the office, with contact-free delivery or collection options available.

With more than 100 different cuisine types available through Just Eat, the solution allows businesses to cater to all of their employees’ dietary requirements at the same time as providing an effortless service with no complicated expense processes. There are no fixed costs for Just Eat Pay and companies can manage their account easily through a clear online dashboard.

Andrew Kenny, Managing Director, Just Eat UK, said: “As we all continue to adapt to the changing landscape, at Just Eat, we’re committed to contributing to employee wellbeing both at home and in the office. Just Eat Pay is a fantastic opportunity to support businesses in providing a sense of team as well as empowering and connecting with employees through offering a wide range of food choices.”

The service launched in 2019 and is already being used by a wide range of businesses across a number of Just Eat Takeaway.com markets, including The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Poland, Denmark, France and Norway, where it’s called Takeaway Pay. The solution has grown in popularity with feedback showing increased employee satisfaction by providing access to a much broader range of cuisine options.

As part of the global initiative, Just Eat Takeaway.com has also recently launched the Takeaway Pay Card. Through this, corporate clients are able to pay for their Takeaway Pay meal at hundreds of thousands of selected food and beverage merchants using the new debit card, powered by Mastercard. The product is available for new and existing corporate clients in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, with plans to roll out to more markets over the coming months.
