JKS Restaurants has named Pavan Pardasani as global chief executive officer of its Indian dining portfolio as the group gears up for international expansion.
In his new role, Pardasani will lead operations across JKS’s acclaimed London restaurants. This includes Michelin-starred Trishna and Gymkhana — while also steering forthcoming launches in New York and Las Vegas.
The son of Indian immigrants, Pardasani was raised in New York and brings extensive industry experience, having held senior positions at Hakkasan and Catch Hospitality. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer at Tao Group Hospitality.
His appointment coincides with JKS’s upcoming entry into the U.S. market. This autumn, the group will debut its first American venture, Ambassador’s Clubhouse, in New York’s NoMad district, followed later in the year by a Gymkhana opening at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Jyotin Sethi, co-founder and chief executive of JKS Restaurants said: “Pavan is the perfect addition to our leadership team to help guide this exciting and pivotal expansion.”
“His deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset and passion for hospitality align perfectly with our vision for this next chapter as we continue to champion Indian cuisine globally.'
Pardasani will work alongside newly appointed U.S. leadership, including Rob Rawleigh as managing partner and Rick Tomich as vice president of marketing. In the UK, Laura Irving will continue as managing director of JKS’s Indian restaurants.
Founded by siblings Karam, Sunaina and Jyotin Sethi in 2008, JKS Restaurants has grown into a portfolio of around 30 establishments, collectively holding six Michelin stars and six Bib Gourmands. Within the group, Karam Sethi oversees food, concept development and talent scouting, while Sunaina Sethi serves as people director and Jyotin Sethi leads as group chief executive.
