Hilton Worldwide has this week announced that it is planning to expand its Hilton by Hampton brand with two new sites due to open Birmingham and Gatwick airport.
Together, the two hotels will receive more than £22m of investment and once open will create around 55 jobs in both locations.
The full details of the hotels are as followed- Hampton by Hilton Birmingham City North has been signed under a management agreement with Birmingham Regeneration LLP. When the newly-built 109-bedroom property opens this summer it will become the brand's second hotel in Birmingham; Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport, North Terminal will be directly connected to the airport's North Terminal by the hotel’s own dedicated covered walkway. The 192-bedroom venue is expected to open in early 2014 and will feature two meeting rooms. It will join the 821-bedroom Hilton London Gatwick Airport which is connected to the South Terminal.
Hampton by Hilton has also announced that they continue to open hotels across the UK in order to make its target of operating 23 properties by 2015. Having launched the brand in 2009, the brand currently has 11 hotels in the UK.
