Imbiba’s Camm & Hooper secures second London site

Camm & Hooper, the new bar and restaurant company which is backed by original Drake & Morgan investors Imbiba, is understood to have secured a second London site in its aim to ‘revolutionise the events sector’ in London.

Headed by former hotelier Claire Lawson, Camm & Hooper has bought Greens Restaurant and Oyster Bar on London’s Cornhill, which closes tomorrow. The Runner Bar at Greens in Cornhill can accommodate gala dinners for up to 200 guests or canapé receptions for 350 people – and the entire venue can be hired for events for up to 450 people.

Camm and Hooper opened its first site, Tanner and Co, in Bermondsey in the large warehouse site formerly occupied by Delfina’s, which had a turnover of £1.5m at the site. The company now intends to revolutionise events space in iconic London buildings. It plans to open six sites across London in its first three years.
