US-based pizza delivery firm, Papa John’s is celebrating its first profit in the UK for 7 years. The group's turnover was up on the previous year by 23.9% in 2012 to £28,415,000.
Earlier this month, Papa John’s hosted a grand celebration in London in recognition of the company reaching the 1,000th international restaurant milestone.
There are currently 4,300 Papa John’s restaurants operating in 35 countries and territories, 227 of which are in the UK.
Tony Thompson, Papa John’s president, said, “International development is the long-term growth engine for Papa John’s, and we will continue to bring a better pizza experience to more and more consumers around the world.”
Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Papa John’s International, Inc. is the world’s third largest pizza company.
