St Modwen to set up new 6,000 sq ft office

The UK’s leading regeneration specialist, St Modwen is setting up a new 6,000 sq ft office for its Birmingham-based property development business at its £70m Longbridge town centre.

Commenting on the move, Regional Director John Dodds (pictured right) said, “The relocation of the Midlands office has been prompted by a strong performance in the region and reflects the national strength of the company.

“We have a large number of significant Midlands-based development projects coming forward and are now in a good position to benefit from market improvements in 2014 and beyond.”

Managing Director, Guy Gusterson (pictured left) continued, “St Modwen Homes has grown substantially over the last 12 months and is now active on five residential sites located across the UK, including Park View at Longbridge, which has proved incredibly popular and is 100% sold. The move to new offices will help to facilitate further growth of the business as we look to strengthen our presence in the Midlands and across other areas of the UK.”

St. Modwen reported a strong performance in the Midlands over the last 12 months, when it unveiled positive annual results earlier this month.

Tenant interest in St. Modwen’s managed estates is increasing, with deals signed for in excess of one million sq ft of space across the Midlands over the last 12 months.
