Turtle Bay to open in Manchester

Turtle Bay, the Caribbean restaurant and bar chain, is due to open in Manchester at the end of May.

The group is moving into the former Alibi bar on Oxford Street in the city centre after a £1m makeover of the 8,000 sq ft premises to give a 250-cover restaurant space, a large central island bar and indoor 'veranda'-style drinking spaces.

As to be expected, Turtle Bay boasts a spice-rich menu ‘influenced by a rich tapestry of ethnicities’ with dishes including carnivore-friendly favourites, such as jerk ribs, patties and curry goat.

Also unveiling new restaurants in Birmingham, Turtle Bay is set to create 70 jobs in its Manchester branch. This will bring the group's total portfolio to eight outlets.
