Ryan Giggs Hotel Football set to start first season

The launch of Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s Hotel Football in September takes a step closer with the appointment of General manager Stewart Davies, who has run Manchester hotels including the Mint Hotel and the Hilton Double Tree in the past.

The hotel has 133 bedrooms and will target both match day fans as well as business users, families and visitors.

A focus is on its meeting and event spaces catering for up to 500 people and its own five-a-side rooftop football pitch.

A Café Football Manchester, already popular at Westfield Stratford City, will be located on site. The restaurant will offer signature dishes from its sister site in London, where two Michelin star chef Michael Wignall designed the menu with group executive chef Brendan Fyldes.
