French tartine cafe opens in Covent Garden

Aurelia Delclos has opened a traditional French cafe dedicated to her grandmother, Chez Antoinette, in Covent Garden.

The menu offers seasonally-led food, with a focus on French tartines (open sandwiches), made from organic flour using Antoinette's original recipes, such as Jambon Cru - cured ham, ricotta, pine nuts, olive oil and basil.

Chez Antoinette also serves up salads and soups along with a selection of homemade cakes.

The cafe is open for breakfast and goes right through to dinner.
