Lancashire County Council has unveiled plans for a new £430m business park on the 160-acre Cuerden site near Preston.
Business leaders and policticans believe the site will not only create 2,500 jobs on a 160 acre site near Preston but boost growth in Blackburn, Burnley and as far as Pendle.
The business park will take 10 years to complete, subject to planning permission being given this week by South Ribble Council, the local authority of the proposed site.
