Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant, Hakkasan, is set to open a second London site in Mayfair this autumn. The move follows the Abu Dhabi investment company Tasameem's £30m takeover of the Hakkasan Group, which also includes the Michelin-starred Yauatcha. Set to launch in November, Hakkasan Mayfair will be located on Bruton Street offering the same modern Cantonese cuisine as the original restaurant on Hanway Place. The restaurant will be have a 145-seat dining room with private dining facilities, plus a 75-seat ground floor lounge bar. The executive head chef will be Tong Chee Hwee who has been responsible for Hakkasan's menus since it launched.
