German budget hotel group, Motel One is set to open its second UK hotel in Manchester after opening its first one in Tower Hill last month.
The first Motel One will offer 330 bedrooms and is located opposite Piccadilly station in the city centre.
Also, construction work on a second Manchester site - said to be worth £25m - is set to start in March 2015 with completion set for 2017.
The hotel will have 300 bedrooms and will be located in Cross Street in the heart of central Manchester. It will also include a ground floor restaurant, a retail unit and parking for 25 cars.
