Giggling Squid expansion funds to swell from 10 to 150 sites

Thai-style casual dining restaurant group, Giggling Squid is seeking a new investor to support the expansion of its chain from ten outlets to up to 150.

Founded in 2009 by Pranee and Andy Laurillard, the restaurants serve rustic-style Thai food inspired by street trends, as well as classic seafood dishes.

The menu offers a selection of locally sourced fish, from Ginger Soy Scallops to Steamed Sea Bass fillets through to the signature ‘Giggling Squid’. The dish contains several baby squids filled with minced chicken, steamed and fried in batter; the sauce balances hot and sweet flavours.

The fast growing firm operates venues from Brighton, Crawley, Henley, Hove to Reigate, Tunbridge Wells, and Marlow.
