ETM moves beyond London with Suffolk pub


Gastropub operator, ETM Group is to launch its first pub outside of London, when it opens the Six Bells in Suffolk in April this year.

The Preston St Mary, Grade II-listed building, which is the company's 14th site, will receive an extensive refurbishment

The 2,000 sq ft venue will offer a 20-cover bar and a 40-cover dining room that can be split to function as a private events space.

The kitchen will be overseen by head chef John Tremayne, who will be moving from the group’s White Swan pub. The menu will be created using locally sourced foods from farms and artisan suppliers including Lavenham Butchers and fish from Leigh-on-Sea.

For beverages, the Six Bells will offer an extensive wine list and a beer selection voted for by the local community which will include monthly guest ales.
