Michelin starred chef, Angela Hartnett is to open a second Cafe Murano in Covent Garden in early June 2015.
The new 140-cover Tavistock Street restaurant is expected to feature seasonal Northern Italian dishes with Richard Lloyd heading up the kitchen, who was formerly sous chef at Hartnett, Holder and Co.
For beverages, there will be an all-Italian wine list and cocktails that interpret classics and specialise in Italian spirits.
Hartnett runs the original Cafe Murano in St James’s Street, and the Michelin starred Murano restaurant. She also launched Merchants Tavern in Shoreditch two years ago.
