Caravan, the renowned craft coffee and all-day dining brand, has exciting plans to open a flagship restaurant in London's vibrant Covent Garden later this year.
Caravan's highly anticipated flagship restaurant is set to be housed in the historic Grainhouse on Drury Lane. This remarkable venue, once a grain and seed store will mark the group's eighth establishment and its most expansive site to date.
Adding to the excitement, Caravan will be making history as the first food and beverage operator at the European headquarters of Hines, a prominent global real estate property manager, which acquired the Grainhouse in 2020.
Spanning across two floors, the forthcoming Caravan flagship restaurant will impress with its spacious layout. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the ambiance of a wrap-around terrace, providing a delightful outdoor dining experience. The restaurant's design will include a panoramic shopfront. Furthermore, Caravan's commitment to hosting private events is exemplified by the inclusion of the Green Room, the largest private hire and events space in their portfolio.
It will be open from morning to night, offering signature dishes such as jalapeno cornbread, steamed cod dumplings, and crisp chilli salt tofu.
Laura Harper Hinton, co-founder and chief executive of Caravan, said: 'We are thrilled to be heading to Covent Garden to share our passion for craft coffee, well-travelled food and memorable experiences in a new part of the city.
'Thirteen years after opening our first restaurant in Exmouth Market, we still strive to be a source of new, exciting flavours, fresh ideas, and authentic, friendly experiences.'
