Kokoro sees success of new Surrey site through delivery

Kokoro, the takeaway franchised chain, has found success through delivery services at its latest outlet in Epsom, Surrey, despite the highly challenging time for the high street.

Kokoro, which specialises in Japanese and Korean food, opened the Epsom site on 18 February, and found that the delivery option has proven to be extremely popular.

Director of the Epsom branch, Young Kim told Get Surrey that the new site has been a lot busier than expected, especially through Deliveroo. Click & Collect is also offered.

The Epsom site joins new openings in Tooting and Chichester, and a new Clapham Junction outlet ia set to open this month.

Kokoro was founded in the UK more than a decade ago by Rak-Kyu Park, and offers hot and cold menu options such as a range of sushi, soups and katsu curries. Dishes include: Sweet Chilli Chicken, Salmon Teryaki, Seafood Udon, Dragon Roll, and Kimchi Salmon Poke.
