Plant-based restaurant Holy Carrot reveals plans to open second location in London

Holy Carrot, the plant-based restaurant, has announced plans to open a second location in London.

The restaurant's second location will be in Old Spitalfields Market, with plans to open in late 2025.

Holy Carrot was founded by Irina Linovich in 2020, initially starting as a series of pop-ups and residencies across London and Bicester Village.

This was followed by the opening of a 60-cover flagship restaurant and cocktail bar in Notting Hill, London, in July 2024, with Acme Fire Cult co-founder Daniel Watkins leading the operation. Watkins will continue to collaborate with Linovich at the new site.

Linovich said: “I am thrilled to be bringing Holy Carrot to East London. I have always felt the energy and community there is aligned with our vision, bursting with creativity, culture and forward-thinkers. East London has always been about reinvention, and we’re excited to add our own chapter to the story.”

Holy Carrot sources its produce by partnering with small-scale producers and regenerative farmers. In 2025, the Portobello Road restaurant was included in the Michelin Guide.
