Boxpark’s Boxhall City has revealed its lineup of food and beverage traders

Club Mexicana and Gaucho are among the 13 food and drink traders set to join Boxhall City in London’s Liverpool Street when it opens next month.

Gaucho will introduce a new concept, Gaucho Go, serving its signature steak and chips, burgers, and new dishes, including a twist on the classic hot dog.

Boxpark, known for its shipping container concept, first announced plans for its sister brand’s debut in early 2022, originally aiming for a summer 2023 launch.

Boxhall City was envisioned as an all-day dining destination, featuring food, drinks, and music within the Edwardian Metropolitan Arcade, the historic gateway to Liverpool Street Station.

Boxhall City is now set to open on 10 April, featuring 13 traders, including plant-based Mexican street food brand Club Mexicana, fine dining Indian restaurant Farzi, and all-day brunch spot Eggslut.

Other traders include independent bakery Sourdough Sophia (pictured), burger specialists Burger & Beyond, Japanese-Latin fusion restaurant Nativo, Little Bao Boy, Singaporean diner Old Chang Kee, sushi bar Inamo Sukoshi, dessert spot Soft Serve Society, and Boki Coffee.

A rooftop bar is expected to open at the venue later this year.

Matt Snell, who was named chief executive of Boxpark earlier this month, said: 'This mix of food and drink brands, the chef-led kitchen and heritage venue has resulted in the creation of an exciting new destination, unlike anything we’ve done before.”

Last year, Boxpark launched two new sites in Liverpool and Camden, and secured a lease extension for its flagship Shoreditch location.
