Tracey Brown has been appointed Food & Beverage Director at Jupiter Hotels, responsible for the group’s portfolio of 29 hotels across the UK.
Following 30 years at the business, Brown has risen through the ranks from hotel manager to F&B Director.
The appointment follows continued F&B successes across the portfolio including breakfast and dinner year on year revenue growth:
• the introduction of chef signature dishes at each hotel; development and implementation of F&B focused guest experiences, such as Gourmet Breaks
• a renewed focus on seasonality and provenance
• the recognition of restaurants across the group, notably the AA Rosette achievement at Mercure Newbury Elcot Park
• a new breakfast offering under development to be rolled out this year.
Tracey Brown said, “The F&B team has a passion for delivering exciting and quality food and drink at our hotels. The customer is at the heart of all our decisions and innovations, ensuring everything is tailored to their needs and desires. I am deeply proud to head up our work across all 29 Jupiter Hotels and to work with such a dedicated and talented team.”
Shane Harris, CEO Jupiter Hotels, added, “Tracey has helped build and shape our F&B offering over the years and continues to meet and exceed both my and our customer’s expectations.
“What customers want from a hotel in F&B terms has changed. Guests don’t always want a formal dining experience or even separate restaurants. As such we have looked closely at our guests’ needs at each hotel and designed an F&B experience to suit.
'We’ve moved toward creating executive lounge bars, with different areas providing different needs and an F&B offering to match.
'The customer feedback and increased revenue across the portfolio demonstrates the success of this new approach to F&B. Tracey has been pivotal to this successful business move.”
