Glasgow’s iconic five-star spa hotel has been nationally recognised at The Look Awards 2018. The stunning Principal Blythswood Square won Spa of the Year beating tough competition from top spas across the country.
The award-winning spa recently underwent an upgrade as part of the hotel’s multi-million pound investment with the creation of a brand-new Spa Lounge so guests can indulge in afternoon tea and light snacks in the comfort of their robes.
The Spa at Blythswood Square is a 10,000 sq. ft. facility with nine luxury treatment rooms, a thermal suite, two relaxation pools and a relaxing lounge – a decadent, five-star haven in the centre of the city.
Finlay Anderson, Spa Director at Blythswood Square, says: “The staff pride themselves on giving our guests and spa customers a fabulous experience so the award is testament to the hard work and professionalism of the full team.
“We are committed to offering our guests an unrivalled five star experience and new investment allows us to do just that.”
The spa also recently launched a new plant based organic menu takes the best of British brands, with organic seaweed as its lead ingredient. Farmed and delivered fresh weekly from Scotland’s Hebridean Islands, this mineral rich marine plant is used both in its natural state and incorporated into a range of therapeutic skincare products under the label Ishga.
Other lines include Cornwall’s Made for Life which uses 100% organic herbs and flowers to deliver beautiful, healthy skin; and ila, a range of highly potent and sacred products which channel the raw remedial power of nature using her most ancient and purest sources of energy – plants, flowers and herbs.
Treatments comprise a luxurious, sophisticated and holistic range of face and body treatments including relaxing massages and detoxifying wraps.
